First Spaniel Trial of the 2024/25 Season
Today we held our first spaniel trial of the 2024/25 season.
We held our Open AV Spaniel (ex Cockers) at the beautiful Caerhays Estate in St Austell Cornwall. Our huge thanks and gratitude go to the Williams family for allowing us back onto their beautiful estate. Thank you to Jim Andrew - keeper for organising such a fabulous day - thank you.
We started the day in the woods where there was a plentiful supply if game, then after a short break, up to the cover crop to finish off. To the judges Paddy Williams and Dave Rayner for giving us their time and judging all of our competitors. The guns for their cracking shots and last but not least my team of helpers for all their efforts behind the scenes that make the day run smoothly and keep me in check. Our thanks to Skinners for their continued support and to Sporting Saint for their generous gift.
