CFTS Open Field Trial for AV Retrievers at the Colquite Estate 28th October 2025
CFTS held its Open Field Trial for AV Retrievers at the Colquite Estate by kind permission of Countess Pinky Le Grelle and head keeper Jim Osborne on the 28th October 2025. Thank you to the Judges on the day, Nick Coates, Judy Rainey, Steve Ashby and Keith Sandercock . A big thank you to Helen Ford for being the Chief Steward on the day.
Thank you to Jim Osborne and his team for supplying a fantastic amount of quality birds for the guns and to the team of guns for shooting so well. Thank you to all the helpers giving up their time to bird mark, game carry, steward, organise behind the scenes.

CFTS held its Novice Field Trial for AV Retrievers at St Allen Nr Truro by kind permission of St Allen’s Shoot syndicate on the 3rd November. Thank you to the Judges on the day, Sara Chichester, Chris Marshall, Beth Payne and Jess Latham
We were very grateful to be invited back for a third Season at St Allen. Again they didn’t disappoint.
Thank you to our judges, bird markers, pickers up and stewards for all your time, and especially Sue behind the scenes, Skinners for their continued sponsorship with prizes and certificates. But most of all a massive thank you to the St Allen shoot for making this trial happen and be so enjoyable for all concerned.
